A new LGBTQIA+ and allies' group for young people is coming to #Alnwick in #NorthNorthumberland thanks to a consortium of organisations working together led by Northumberland Pride and includes representatives from Mind and Sole, Amble Youth Project, Women’s Workshop, Shilbottle Children & Young Peoples Project, Duchess High School, Rurals Us, Splinter Group and Northumberland CVA. 

This isn’t a closed group, so if other organisations want to be involved in the development of this group or other groups in North Northumberland (or beyond) then please do get in touch.

The group will welcome young people up to the age of 25. As we expect to have a variety of ages attending we’ll have staff who can work with different age groups so their needs are appropriately met.

We know access to, travel to/from the group will be an issue for young people and we can support them with travel costs if needed. If this is the case then please do get in touch in advance, however our staff will have access to funds at each group in the event that we have young people attend without anticipating the cost of getting home
