The Alnwick Story Fest celebrates the power of stories to transform and light up our lives in this Winter festival in the heart of Northumberland.

On this inspiring weekend, we invite out community and visitors to have fun, find new friends, learn new skills, mingle and meet with aspiring writers, film makers, artists and photographers.

Our aim, in this first year of the Alnwick Story Fest, is that Alnwick will be billed as the 'story town' of the far north of England.

Our objectives:
To create community events that inspire and uplift and are delightfully entertaining.
To ignite the imagination of our residents and visitors to be creative with 'how to' workshops
To celebrate our northern talen and support emerging young story tellers
To encourage flourishing mental health for children and adults
To provide a children's offer at very low cost to families
To bring new visitors to Alnwick in the darker months, in support of local businesses
To create a financially and operationally viable model for an ongoing yearly festival
